- ARTIST STATEMENT -
My subject matter is quite wide-ranging which can prove both challenging and rewarding. It does, however, give a certain flexibility to my artistic practice while encouraging the creative process. This allows for a refreshed approach to each new body of work.
All of my categories have their own individual statements describing the reasons why I like to paint them. I continually return to one or another whenever the inspiration guides me.

Jackie studied Fine Arts, Italian and Philosophy at the University of Sydney, and Fine Arts at the Lismore College of TAFE.
She regularly exhibits her work in group and solo shows, as well as art competitions, winning several awards and prizes for her paintings.
Moving from Sydney to the NSW Far North Coast in 1986, Jackie now lives and paints in the Northern Rivers hinterland, near the village of Eltham.
